Social distancing at the Waldbühne

Our evening entertainment, courtesy of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and Wayne Marshall - an excellent programme of American music.  It was recorded a couple of months ago.

The Berlin Phil Digital Concert Hall has kept us entertained during the last 18 months, with old concerts from the archives, and more recently with concerts to an empty auditorium, or to a limited, masked audience.

It was interesting to see how the Waldbühne has tackled the needs of coronavirus social distancing - previous concerts from there have featured a very crowded arena.  Normally there are large numbers of people lounging on grass in the centre - the oval area which has been filled with seating.  But we noted that the audience were not wearing masks.
