Gently down the stream

Brimstone

I blipped this male brimstone feeding on black knapweed (centaurea nigra) up at the butterfly reserve this afternoon.  It was a much nicer day than forecast and there was sun most of the way.  Before the walk it was some very satisfying gardening.  Progress is being made, but I really need to scrub the dirt from under my fingernails  :))

And a reminder: WildflowerWeek21_21 finished at midnight last night.  From today all wildflower entries should be tagged #WildflowerWeek21_22

Okay, that's enough talking.  Cup of tea time!

Hope your weekend's been good and that the week starts well for you  xx
