Pylon

The starlings of Wrose have piled on the pylon. Feel free to count them.

After a couple of hours in town I stopped off at the football on the way back. Bradford City AFC Women were hosting Durham Cestria in a league match at Eccleshill Utd, the pylon overlooking the ground was hosting the starlings.  

Durham are a fast and skilful team and took a very early lead but City dug in and with the help of some fine goalkeeping and defensive blocks kept themselves in the game.  More pressure from Durham in the second half brought another goal, and although City grabbed a late consolation it wasn’t enough. Final score 1-2.
