One of the kids

Yes, finally got a proper sightline on one the the roe kids this morning.  A young male do we think, with those light spots where the antlers will grow?  Very deer dear if not quite the quality I'd have liked.

What else can I say about today?  Not a lot of sun - some early which didn't last and a bit now (6pm) but the rest of the day has been grey and cold.  I've exhausted myself continuing the gardening, so I expect I'll sleep well tonight, but as usual I wish I'd managed to get just that bit further ;)
