2437. Silver

I was watching a TV programme today which mentioned chatelaines and so I dug out my Victorian silver pencil holder which sadly doesn’t have a date on it as the hallmarks are very worn. It was in a box with these two other items of silver both much newer, the key is 1978 and the silver ingot 1977. The pencil holder has a link on it and it must have been made for a chatelaine perhaps worn by the lady of the house!
A quiet day today….not up to much.
