Roger

A sad farewell today but also a day of happy memories of fun times.

We (his close friends in the ATN community singers) sang ‘The Rose’. It was his favourite and quite an emotional song. It was tempered at the end by the three men putting pans or colanders on their heads! Don’t ask!

The family flowers shown contained red socks, which he always wore and a diary which he kept every day. Well remembered for his more than thirty years of playing the pantomime dame with our village amateur dramatic group, writing odes and being our paper boy among many other things!

An exceptional and unique man who will be very sadly missed. As Chris says ‘things will never be the same’.
