Survival

We have been working yesterday, and today, on cutting back the very thick ivy along the fence on the right-hand side of the garden.
Quite amazed, when we cleared the front of it so we could actually see the fence panels, to see this sign of life amongst the devastation.
The ivy would come back again but the fence panels and posts now need replacing. Where we've cleared front the weight of the ivy bent over the post and broke it off at the bottom. I expect it was quite rotten after 25 years.
The other posts seem fine but really not worth just doing the one.

3 trips to the recycling centre with garden waste so far, including one today. When I say garden waste I don't mean a garden bag.
3 double/king size sheets tied up, they fill the back of the car with the seats down, plus a large 70cuft bag in the front seat.
Two more tip runs tomorrow and one on Sunday with more to book.
