Top Tip

Thanks to a recommendaton from Tigger we visited Snipe Dale this morning. It was lovely but very hot..... and I think most wildlife had very sensibly taken to the shade. This small white was a little more obliging and a Muntjac (I think) put in a brief appearance running across our path (too quickly for my slow reactions). Lots of bird song but hiding well. 
In the afternoon we caught up with friends I hadn't seen for a long time (I think we decided it was probably 10 years). So good. We promised to see each other again before the next decade!
