a lifetime burning

Holiday Snaps 2

An evening in Porth.  Its been quite a grey day, with occasional rain.

Fortunately we managed to complete a rather taxing game of links golf at Perranporth before the rain came in.  Those just after us were not so lucky and got soaked. At one stage a Cornish sea mist rolled in - I've never played a short par 3 when you couldn't see the flag for sea mist before.  Visibility was only about 80 yards - so the Marshall's stopped play.  Eventually the wind cleared the mist after only 10 minutes so that play could resume.
