In These Stones Horizons Sing

We travelled to Cardiff late this morning after Tess's KeepFat class and arrived at our hotel in time for a stroll around Mermaid Quay in the former Dock area. The blip shows the Millennium Centre, home of the Welsh National Opera. The inscription is the title of the work for Orchard chorus that was commissioned for its opening.

After a tasty meal in Wagamama we strolled up to the slightly less grand Motorpoint Arena to see Elbow in concert. This is the second time we've seen them and they were just as brilliant as the first time, putting on a really entertaining show. Guy Garvey's voice certainly makes the horizons sing. It was so good to hear live music again.
