The second half of life..

Camellia past its best

Dentist this morning then a bit of a wait until 4.00pm until the PM's announcement on changing Levels.

Finished off an AV presentation I've been working on then out into the garden to make another small dent on things.  Bum/back/leg still not freely moving and giving a little pain but despite all, I still feel the need to push on through and get to grips with things.

In my final tidy up for the afternoon I picked up this dead camellia which, despite everything, still retains a certain beauty.

Back to the chiropractor tomorrow.  Hopefully he'll be able to weave a little more healing magic :)

And in COVID news, Aucklanders will be mightily relieved to be moving down to Level 3, where they'll have a little more freedom and will be able to get takeaway coffees and food!  There's no movement for the rest of us though - disappointing, but expected.

The best story of the day comes from two gang associates who were arrested at Auckland's southern checkpoint after police discovered them trying to travel into the city from Hamilton with over $100,000 in cash and a car boot-full of KFC.  Reports later said that both men were 'summonsed to appear in court at a later date for breaching the health order.'  With that much KFC I'm not surprised they were deemed to be breaching a health order!
