A Very Rainy Day

There have been a few breaks in the rain though. Mid-morning I did get a walk in, and mid-afternoon I got out to the garden with the camera. Everything is absolutely soaked, which I'm still reveling in after such a hot and dry spring and summer. 

I blipped this Clematis florida 'Taiga' a few days ago when I first noticed it (here) and now it's in its full glory! Isn't it amazing? Even lovelier covered with (real) raindrops! 

I've spent the day working on botanical garden stuff, with a myriad of calls. Still have a lot to catch up on, but it's great to have a rainy day to do so!
