Eggs for Easter

Monday. Get the girls after school. Lots of playing with my Easter rabbit collection. Tatum making pictures on my ipad and playing games. Decorated some eggs: crayon, markers, dye, stickers; most of Fi's are broken. Fi helped make the pancakes; batter all over the kitchen and her dress. She managed to pull the whole silver tea service tray over on herself. Lots of noise, (metal clinking, child crying)but no damage. Lots of pancakes, broccoli and syrup consumed for dinner. Much after dinner playing with the slinky from the 3rd floor down to the 1st floor in the stairwell: everyone survived, except there was a moment of getting her head stuck in between the railing: over that quickly with a hug from big sister. Boppa wouldn't let her have his keys, so she decided to paint. Put on the apron and got new paper in the easel, painted black. Wash all the brushes with all the soaps in the sink. Insisted on painting again with the other apron on. More black. More washing. OK finally out the door. With my rowing stroke coach in purse around her neck. Play all the way home in the car. (I stayed home). whew! No decent "faces of fiona" today, so the blip is eggs.

One funny story - last week Fiona's Mom told her that there it was official photo portrait day at her school. Fi thought that Nanna would be there with her camera, and was disappointed when told not. Ha. !
