Muck mining.

'Ere the winter storms begin. If there are/have been any "equally noxious" Gales yet I haven't experienced them - BUT - the rain I've been longing for has arrived, and, like the drought I've just had - it doesn't know when to stop.  "You" may remember this.  When I did a drop-dodging scuttle along for the Milk I noticed the telltale trickle. = time for the annual Ritual, "Muck mining".
When it seems that the bulk of it is a mix of leaves PLUS a sand-like substance I presume to be disintegrating roof tiles it seems like another of those races. Me popping my clogs or the Roof requiring new Tiles?
