Further From The Truth

Reducing the scene down to a few shapes, by using soft focus, produces something a bit more interesting than reality might otherwise have provided. What is truth in photography anyway? Perhaps this is more truthful than a representational recording.

Photography is more than the product of a mechanical button press. It's also a point of view taken by a human hand, reflecting history, emotion and input from five senses.

I am reminded of early images by Chris Friel, but his are far more complex, and dark.
