Yesterday’s blip showed 2 Alfies! There were actually 3 of us on the campsite at Lacock, and someone else joined us today. We had a relaxing morning and I did some baking in my Remoska oven and shared the pain aux raisins for our elevenses coffee break.
This weekend we are joining a large group from our Alphard owners group as we take part in an event at Castle Combe. The event is tomorrow but a few of us - 9, I believe - are camping on-site tonight. And more will join us tomorrow.
We left for the Castle Combe racetrack mid afternoon, and two of us went through a nearby car wash. I had to make sure Alfie looked his best!
It was good to meet the others - some of whom I’d not met before, or only on our Facebook group. N made dinner for me and another ‘camper’. We enjoyed his delicious one-pot meal of haddock chowder. I took careful notes so that I can make it for myself sometime. One-pot meals are perfect in a Campervan. I provided the bread, also ‘baked’ in the Remoska this morning.
Looking forward to tomorrow!
