Fade to grey

I could have gone with “50 shades of…”, but I just feel that’s all a little passe now, isn’t it? 

That said, who knows what goes on behind blippers closed doors……? Probably best to leave that one there.

Today has been grey. Very very grey and drizzly. In a bizarre way, work has been rather similar. No torrential downpour, just a steady oppressive drizzle. Fortunately, a welcome lunchtime meeting put paid to that and was enough to see me through the working day, until I braved the drizzly elements to snap today’s blip.

The Eldest is continuing her elongated stay with me and so we polished off the pie and crumble leftovers from yesterday and watched Black Swan. I was delighted to see that it blew her mind as much as it did mine when first watching it. Natalie Portman goes to another place in her performance (deserved Oscar winner), which is all the more remarkable given the invasiveness of the camerawork as we follow Nina in her quest for perfection. God, I love a good film!
