Birthday drinks

I'm not quite sure what it says about me that my younger daughter felt that 2 litres of "discarded" spirits was a good present!

I'm normally a gin and wine drinker - these will encourage diversity.

With W still under the weather with his "long cold", today has been fairly mundane.  I spent a couple of enjoyable hours playing duets with L.  W dragged himself from his sick bed to make some salmon in creamy sauce for dinner, which was really rather nice.  And we opened a bottle of wine from 2006 that was contributed to our wine rack by W when we combined our households.  It was is rather nice - I'm just about to treat myself to a third glass.
