Reflected sunrise.

The sun was rising when I pulled back the curtains this morning. We don’t get a good view of the sunrise because of wires and roof tops etc but we do get a great view of the St Ives Woods from our bedroom window and I loved the colours of the trees lit by the reflected light.

Best light of the day really, dull and damp for the rest of the morning.

Yesterday Chris made the Christmas cake. What a disappointment, the best smell of the year and I couldn’t smell a thing! I’m sure the taste will make up for it.

Also yesterday a What’s app brought me a picture of Jude with pigtails! Time that hair had some control.
