Life in Sunny Dubai

More Cool Hoarding

Guess who got in the car today with all her things neatly in a bag?!

With three hours to kill in between lessons on a Wednesday, G carried a few things she wanted to work on, so there we were, back again in Mall of the Emirates, in a section that had pink hoarding that was perfect for a pink blip. My default model was happy to pose. :))

It's been a mega busy, non-stop day, but not stressful. Well, apart from G needing to organise a Police Clearance Certificate for work. She was told the Dubai Police app works very well but didn't when we tried at lunchtime. Then, much later on, it still didn't work, so I tried the website. That worked, but one final verification step proved too complex, so it might be a case of visiting a police station to finish things off. So much for smart tech.

We got to the SA meeting in time, armed with guitar today. We are allowed to sing again and even take our masks off but still need to maintain social distancing. That's not a problem. Sadly, we were very thin on the ground due to traffic jams around the city. Coffee at ICONS followed. Heylan (who we met on Friday) joined us for that, and the day ended with us dropping her off at her Yuri's Night (celebrating the first man in space) Space Party at the Meydan Hotel. Invitees are required to dress to a space theme!

Please will you click here to help donate free mammograms to those who need them? Thank you! :))

PS. I should mention, when this pink London scene is finally removed, it will reveal the new Hamley's store!
