Ta-ra!

Another wet grey day…so dark in the mornings now and I’m looking forward to the clocks going back this weekend. An office day, managing to get through lots of stuff and have several quick 1-2-1 meetings after a longish rather tricky meeting reviewing a Centre.
The to do list is growing despite having crossed a few things off…think I’ll have a catch up weekend on both work and domestic stuff given the weather looks like it will stay grim so we won’t be getting out much.
Ended the day with an exhibition launch (celebrating Athens/Edinburgh links over the last 200 years) where it was good to see a number of people for the first time in many months, then scooted via some fish and chips to the Festival Theatre to see Scottish Opera’s production of The Gondoliers.  Despite not liking Gilbert and Sullivan, it was a jolly evening with great costumes and choreography. Not a very large audience unfortunately but we made up for that in clapping and cheering enthusiastically at every opportunity, just pleased to be back at live performance and supporting the artists.
Dashed home and straight to bed to finish reading the papers for tomorrow’s board meeting. Will be interesting to see VickyG in action in her new role.
