Cool down

Stopped at Calke Abbey on our way to LD's today and heard the stags before we saw them! This Red chap was having a paddle in the lake but there were others around, including Fallow Deer. They seemed unbothered by the fair few humans around but a sturdy fence kept them free of intrusion. We even witnessed a bit of antler wrangling between two Fallow lads.

We left the house in Belper today, and stay overnight with LD and D, going the long way round via our terrific massage therapist who we've missed terribly. Now feeling relaxed and stretched ...
