Senses

A long, peaceful, free day, the first in a long time, where I can catch my breath and do what comes to mind. Next concert is towards  the end of November, at the same place we played a couple of days ago. Good, also because my aching muscles supporting my left shoulder needs a rest from playing for a while.

The roaring autumn is quieting down out there. The trees have lost most of their leaves and the colors are fading into brown more and more. The rich smell of wet leaves, slowly making new soil is strong and powerful. The silence, at least today, is very present.

Time to finish my Terry Pratchett book, "Rising steam", that has been at my bedside table since early summer.
