Day 28 Level 3 Lockdown Step 1

As usual on a Tuesday morning during this lockdown I had the supermarket run for us and my Mum.  It was nice to bump into one of our walking group friends and have a quick chat as she waited for her takeaway coffee outside The Daily Mission where we’d usually be on a Tuesday morning after our walk.


After lunch I took Mum for a drive over to the North Shore to collect our defective eBike battery, which has been repaired by Jack the Battery Man.  He assures us it is now in good working order. Wonderful, at least we can get out for a cycle ride, although not tomorrow when the forecast is for heavy rain.

There was the most amazing sunset tonight, which is my blip for the day. The colour was spectacular.  Six minutes later it looked completely different, which is the extra.

There are 126 new community cases today, a drop from yesterday’s record 162. Of the new cases, 107 are in Auckland, 18 in the Waikato and one in Northland.
