el Dìa de los Muertos

The Day of the Dead begins at midnight on 31 October and ends on 2 November. The Mexican holiday welcomes the return of the souls of deceased relatives with a joyful celebration. The first day is to celebrate children and the second day celebrates the return of adult souls. The days usually include food, music, dancing and even parades, including the city of Tucson.

The two most recognizable symbols are skeletons (Calacas) and skulls (calaveras). But they are happy symbols!
