a lifetime burning

Misty morning hop

Its going to be a busy day today, so I've been up early to catch the sunrise and to be able to enjoy taking and processing a leisurely photo for Blip.  This is the River Avon looking towards Kelston and the sunrise this morning.  Its slightly misty over the river, and the cows are having a frosty breakfast in the fields.  As you can see it was a lovely peaceful start to the day.

In a moment I need to sort out my lateral flow test before meeting my brother to visit Dad in his care home, which will take up most of the morning one way and another.

This afternoon is Nikon Day - Nikon are putting on a host of free talks and online classes on via their web site for this afternoon, which you can register for and attend for free.  In large part this is of course to demonstrate new gear and to encourage you to want to buy it, but it promises to be fun, and potentially educational at the same time.

Finally, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who visited, commented upon, starred or favourited any of the pages in my journal this week.  Its been a very busy week for me with Tiny Tuesday and my 2500th blip.  I've been trying to get around to commenting and thanking everyone individually but if I've missed anyone I do apologise, its not personal!
:-)
