Small patch

This morning, in lovely sunshine, I thought I'd better plant out the cuttings that a friend gave me a short while ago, before the ground gets too solid. In fact it was quite soft after the recent downfalls. I had to weed out many docks and nettles which had grown here over the summer, so I was pleased it wasn't too hard going. My knee wasn't very happy with the digging so I had the best excuse to sit and knit during the afternoon! At last I have sorted out the second side of my cardigan so it wasn't an afternoon wasted.
