There are deer, including a stag, on the horizon in this blip, but you'll have to zoom in.

We were on a Peak District walk with my Ramblers, starting from Birchen Edge. John from round the corner had texted to see if I'd like a lift which I gratefully accepted.

It was very windy, causing me to get blown sideways quite a lot which added to the exhaustion I was feeling, but I staggered on! Towards the end it began to rain but more mizzle than torrential.

I told several in the group that I'd stopped drinking, because the more people who know the harder it'll be for me to break my resolve.

The walk was really tiring. It's the furthest I've walked for quite a while and perhaps I'm not quite over my cold.
