A feeding frenzy

When I walked into the living room this morning, I was really surprised to see many gulls swooping around right outside my window, which they'd never done before.  Looking out, I saw that a homeless woman with a shopping cart was digging in the food waste dumpster, looking for something worth taking, and breaking up and throwing food down for the gulls.  As you can see, they were beside themselves with eagerness to get at something to eat.  Other gulls on the roof looked on.  Sylvie did too (Extra.)
