A walk to Wortley for coffee

I chose to walk through the wood yesterday and thought I could get a coffee and scone in the tea-room before I came back.  I thought there might be some autumn colour and maybe some fungi still. Well there was some colour but apart from a couple of tiny specimens (possibly  deceivers) there were only some brown boletes, most of which were heavily slug damaged.

The wind was very strong along the edge and I chose to return by the lower field path.
