Pylons: The Denny to Beauly Power Line

I often try to avoid the pylons in photographs but today I decided to make a feature of them. These monsters are the local part of the then controversial Denny - Beauly line. All 137 miles and 615 pylons of it. The blip is looking east towards the Pentland Hills south of Edinburgh. The shiny patches are the River Forth meandering its way to the sea.

We were up at the back of Bridge of Allan doing the circuit of Pendreich (Cocksburn) Reservoir. It's a nice walk but quite short. I don't mind a short walk today as I have a lot of admin to he getting on with. I'm expecting another stroll later.

In other excitement I had my hair cut this morning and I feel all the better for it.
