We've had a lovely day at Slimbridge Wetland Centre in Gloucestershire, identifying a wide variety of water birds, or trying to anyway!

It's the first Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust centre that I've visited and it was totally different to an RSPB reserve, much more commercial, but more diverse. It was also more expensive to get in!

My turn to drive, along my favourite most used roads, the A38, M42, and M5, but we had to get there somehow and we had a good laugh meanwhile.
