Scaffolding

It looks like our next door neighbours are having some work done on their roof.

After the excitement of a half day on campus yesterday, followed by an evening out with colleagues, today I resumed working at home. I burrowed through email, made plans, then settled down to research assessment work. Mid-afternoon I popped out to the library to pick up a copy of Francis Stufford's Golden hill, recommended to me by Jackie in Cirencester.

I am looking forward to watching episode 5 of Impeachment: American crime story this evening.

Exercise today: walking (11,376 steps).
