Winchester

The Christmas market was quite depleted this year and not at  all crowded at the time we visited; good for us but not so much for the people with stalls. We walked all the way round in very little time and stopped for a gluhwein when we'd finished. There was only 3 of us in the end as Maria's train was cancelled and the following one delayed! Later in the day Katie's PCR test came back negative so she did another lateral flow test and this one was also negative, so she could have come along after all! At least that means that the wedding trip will now go ahead as planned.
The three of us did spend some time in the haberdashery where I bought some fabric, so the day was not wasted! We were back home before 2pm so had a lazy afternoon.
