Life through the lens...

Sheep may safely graze.

A very, very cold morning.-1C but felt much colder because of the icy wind.
The plumbers were here again and so we cleared out of the way again.
They had to drain the central heating to fit the new bathroom radiator, as well as a few other things.

After calling for some diesel we visited J. Not good news about his wife, N I’m afraid. She is suffering from dementia, and has deteriorated fast in the last few days. Now being looked after in a home. It is very difficult for him when he goes to visit.

We then decided to call for coffee and bacon sandwiches again before doing the farm shop.
We were delighted to see he had some venison for sale.
I have a great Delia recipe which I haven’t done for ages. Just need a jar of pickled walnuts, and a bottle of Guinness.

Then to M&S and a browse round. I was very disappointed with their Christmas display.
However did buy some socks and a jumper for me, as well as our Christmas poinsettia.

Then decided to come home for a cuppa and mince pies. I baked our first ones last night.
The plumbers were just packing up so good timing.

Hope tomorrow is a bit warmer.
Take care everyone as it is very icy out there tonight.

Today’s blip photo was taken from Tong Lane, looking over the fields towards Armley, Leeds.
