We walked up to the top of Helm Crag today, Steve climbed the lion, I tried two ways up but had to downclimb both. We ate lunch looking down to the Lion and the Lamb, the rocks atop the crag, and then walked back to Grasmere by a different route. We're going to the pub soon - you can shoot me if you like but I'm going to have a pint, and then we'll come back here, to the hut, for dinner.
