Not much of a pattern abstract but then again, abstracts aren't in my wheelhouse.  But it was still fun to find another use for a mug rug. You don't have to look far around here to find various Native patterns but if you look closely the majority are made in places like India.  Kind of takes the luster out of them, especially if you want to send a gift from the Southwestern United States.

I attended a church group luncheon Christmas party.  I wasn't happy with my food but I should have ordered something different.  My bad.  It was pleasant; but I stay as long as I had hoped.  Too much noise for my head to deal with. So now it's quite late, I'm freezing (must adjust the furnace) and exhausted.  I don't have anything on my schedule for Friday and promise  to view and post the mono Monday results.

This morning at about 7:45, I was in a long line at a grocery store that opens at 8:00 for senior citizens only. A young man came from the parking lot and tried to cut in at the front of the line, but an old lady beat him back into the parking lot with her cane.

He returned and tried to cut in again but an old man punched him in the gut, then kicked him to the ground and rolled him away. As he approached the line for the third time he said, "Look, if you don't let me unlock the damn door you're never going to get in there!
