Arizona Dreamin’

By laurie54

It rained overnight and until early afternoon, was misty and cold. The clouds lifted a good bit later and when I saw the contrails of what I presumed to be an Air Force jet, I took the picture. Obviously, I took what little time I had today to farnarkle.  My friend called me when I was standing in the massive line at the post office asking me to take her to the hospital. She eventually was discharged. As it is around the world, I'm guessing, no one is allowed to be with the patient, so I spent the better part of seven hours in the waiting room.
Btw, it's still cold: 39°/3.9° at 10:00 pm.Brrrr....

So, I must apologize for not getting around to view the mono Monday entries today. I have a church thing to attend tomorrow in the afternoon but will spend the evening going through them.  I may or may not post the results at that time.
Just in case the results post doesn't show up, although I think BC may have figured out the problem, you can search #MM412results to find them on my blip.

I was in a long McDonald's drive-through this morning and the young lady behind me leaned on her horn because I was taking too long to place my order.

Take the high road, I thought to myself. So when I got to the first window I paid for her order along with my own. The cashier must have told her what I'd done because as we moved up she leaned out her window and waved to me and mouthed "Thank you," obviously embarrassed that I had repaid her rudeness with kindness.

When I got to the second window I showed them both receipts and took her food too. Now she has to go back to the end of the line to start all over.

Don't honk your horn at old people.
