Ullswater looking towards Pooley Bridge

Yet another quick visit to the Lodge.  This time to return equipment which is stored there.  It was such a lovely day that we decided to go home by the scenic route.  Going a few hundred yards out of our way we parked at Glencoyne where in a few months time Wordsworth's Daffodils will be "fluttering and dancing in the breeze".

The light was beginning to fail, a blessing from the point of view of driving but not so good for photography.  The deep shade on the fellside contrasting with the bright sun over Pooley Bridge made exposure a bit tricky.  I am reasonably pleased with the result.
