Happy Holidays

It’s been over 2 years since I’ve been in the City - hard to believe! It was an excellent day starting with a glass of Prosecco with bestie Kura in her West Side apartment (5th floor walk up - whew!) We had a very fun visit and met her new cat before making our way uptown to PJ Clark’s for a late lunch. Killer Bloody Mary with local oysters. Then a trio of beef sliders for me, fish and chips for Kura and something delicious and beefy for hubs. Our waitress was wonderful and it was she who snapped this shot of the three of us.

Proof of vaccination was required, along with masks, to enter the restaurant which made it feel very safe. And because it was an odd time of day, not many people. Which made for a relaxed and very enjoyable time.

SIL stayed with Jax, taking him for a couple of walks as well as some indoor playtime. And, happily, he showed no signs of separation anxiety being away from us!! Because he’s always with us I wasn’t sure how he’d react to us leaving, but all my worry was for naught.

Next stop - Christmas!
