A poignant gift

A lovely day with our daughters and two grandsons. The Tsukens are still unable to travel across the Tasman from the Blue Mountains, just as we cannot go there. A brief face time meeting was the best we could have; even that was abbreviated due to an unexpected event.

During the exchanging of gifts (earlier than the facetime call) S was brought almost to tears by this gift created by daughter C out of pieces cut from unfinished and discarded paintings that she had been given by S' mother for this sort of purpose some years ago, and now brought to fruition. A unique and thoughtful gift.

The boys have decided to challenge my visuospatial skills, giving me three puzzles that have to firstly be separated and secondly put together again. I have yet to try any of them.
