WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Blip Meet and…

no doubt a Blip snap!

After we left Anna’s this morning at 8am we popped by Nadine’s of ‘MumOf4Wildlings’ fame. It was the first time we’d met in person and I had 2 unicorn mugs to collect which she designed and printed, aren’t they lovely. I also said Hi to Nadine’s Mum who was surprised when I told her I had seen her a few times! (On Blip of course ;-) I caught a glimpse of a very shy Harp and of Xander and Lincoln who asked if I had seen them on Blipfoto too.
It is so lovely to actually meet someone you feel you know so well from Blipfoto and she is as warm and friendly as she is on there.

We then headed down towards home, only having a short stop at Tebay to get a loaf and use the loos. We were home at 11.30 and after putting away our stuff had beans on toast for lunch.
The house was cold on arrival home as the heating had only been ticking over for the last week but Frank soon had the stove lit and the heating on high so now we’re cosy.

It was lovely spending time with the families but so nice to get back to our own four walls.

Sabrina, John and the girls are happily in Spain now after 2 years and she was cleaning out cupboards at 6am! It is 27°c there!

We’ll be having a quick and easy tea tonight sausage, chips and peas maybe. Then we’ll watch telly in total peace and quiet! Amelia is forever twirling and spins to and fro in front of the screen - she just can’t help herself - all that skating practice has left her in a permanent twirl!
We have plenty of programmes to catch up on.

Sad news about the death of Desmond Tutu, what a great and wonderful man he was, I do hope his words and actions live on.

I hope you have all had a restful day today.
:-)
