At Julie's

I am not the slightest bit envious!


Not at all.


We have two peace lilies at home. They both produce beautiful healthy leaves, but flowers are few and far between. Julie has an enormous peace lily and it flowers well.

I was there for a "light lunch" today. The English language is so interesting. What was "light" about smoked salmon "nibbles" with crisps and guacamole, celery soup, chicken drumsticks cooked in orange and with veg and potatoes, dessert of home made ice cream jelly and raspberries, all followed by coffee?

Yes, "light" it was and delicious.  We had a convivial chat. It was much better than trying to walk on a cold, wet day.
