Whiting

I had to remove a very thin layer of slightly frozen snow off the car before going to the shop this morning.
When I came out it was covered.
I'm not sure why the driver of this car decided that was the best spot to park. Maybe he doesn't trust other drivers (or himself) in the snow. Certainly on the way home the roads were like glass ....... still no gritters have been out.

The pond looked like it was filled with slush rather than ice when I opened the curtains.
I was just in time to see a pigeon watching the sun trying to break through.

SWMBO told me there was a fat Robin sitting in the tree ..... it wasn't. It was a Bullfinch.
