I took my car into the garage first thing because of the awful noise it makes when I use full lock to turn a corner, obviously at a slow speed. They checked all the joints and other likely causes but couldn't find anything wrong! So they checked the wheel alignments, which were out, and concluded that that might be the cause. But why the guy who took it round the block a couple of times didn't hear the noise is a mystery. Anyway, we shall see if I hear it again. The good news is that they didn't charge me anything :-)
