A bit of morning sparkle

Lovely blue skies this morning but with a frost to give an added sparkle and black ice too for the unwary.

Decided I needed to get out so we walked on to the garden centre, risking that black ice. Looking back to the bottom of the village where we live you can see the mist still hanging over it.

We had a coffee in the Potting Shed which was fortuitous as we met A with his wife and lovely little baby Olivia (Grandparents AuntieP and B were there too.) Our only chance to meet her before they head back to the states tomorrow.

There was frost on moss on the wall top at the end of the lane from our estate. 

In the extra you can see how Eda deals with the cold mornings. She is being wheeled to nursery on the back of John’s bike. John, I assume, will be carrying Jude in the back carrier and not actually cycling otherwise Eda would have her helmet on.
