Celebrating local history

These bullocks are set in a roadside park in Henderson. As the link to a local blogger states, the sculptor (who is also a blacksmith) made the structure of these two bullocks from abandoned supermarket trolleys, laid chicken wire over the 'skeleton' and then covered it with a cement mix which he moulded to give a very life-like appearance.

After getting home from some busy activity this afternoon, I went exploring, found "The Pipeline"; the real one. Had a nice walk in the bush on the pipe, and got another photo of another Kereru for today's extra.
