Kitchen progress!

We managed a lie in until almost 9 today, then Jon did some painting in the dining room end of the kitchen, while I went to the allotment. The chickens were at the gate waiting for me! I fed them, then pruned the raspberries (the summer fruiting ones should have been done last summer, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed about those).

Then we went to Sheringham and met Henry for coffee, who had gone in earlier to get his hair cut. We caught up with Mollie and her friend Becca, who had been for breakfast at a favourite cafe of Mollie's. We all split up, and Jon and H went home to get on with the kitchen.

The boys really are getting there with the kitchen project, and today Jon fitted the dishwasher, while Henry fitted more sockets.

This evening we have played games, after a belated Friday night pizza, which we rolled over to Saturday. After a fun game of Pictionary Air, we played 221b Baker Street, which we all enjoy. Its like a modern version of cludo. Saturday evening is a bit rubbish on TV, and games are a perfect alternative to TV.

It means a late night for us though!
