Looking Up

I have a clematis bush in my garden. It was here when I bought my house many years ago. I’ve not had any luck with any clematis plant I’ve actually planted myself which is a great pity because I love them.

Unfortunately, although the flowers on this one are prolific, it’s very shy and the flowers droop down so that you can’t see their beauty. Looking at it normally the flowers just look like slightly pale leaves. I had to kneel on the damp ground and contort myself, pointing upwards, to get this shot. It was worth it though, for an emergency blip!!

I’m hoping that someone in the blip community can tell me which clematis this is?
