A Day In The Life

So Long, January

We could hardly believe it, eight or maybe ten robins gathered in the lilac trees near the house this morning to take turns drinking from the heated watering hole. Really, robins?!? It was a shock, albeit a pleasant one, as we typically see them in March or April, never January. Perhaps they know something we don’t but one thing I do know, there’s plenty of winter left. Another snowstorm is forecasted for the end of the week • This cold but sunny day was perfect for finishing most of our shoveling chores. I want to cut a path to the cherry tree to help with bird feeding duties so I hope to finish that up tomorrow • The deer did not visit last night leaving their apple, pear and carrot snacks untouched. But MrsP did see Foxy Frida later this morning with a peanut butter sandwich dangling from her mouth :) FF also savored a long warm drink from the community watering hole; think it’s the peanut butter, lol? • Looking forward to welcoming February in tomorrow :)
